Biography:
Sara Dove graduated from CUNY Hunter College in 2025 with a BA in Classical Studies. She currently is an MA student in the CAMS Department at the Pennsylvania State University. Her main research interests revolve around initiation rites for girls during the Classical period of Greece. Beyond this, her interests expand to include ancient gynecology, and domestic work performed by women, such as childrearing. The lives and experiences of women and children in both Greece and Rome and how it relates to the modern experiences of women and children is of particular interest to her.
