Biography:

Westin Maiatico completed his BA in Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies with a specialization in ancient languages from the Pennsylvania State University in 2025. During his undergraduate studies, he worked with Akkadian, Sumerian, Biblical Hebrew and Ugaritic languages. Westin’s research interests include the magico-religious, scholarly, and poetic texts of Mesopotamia with a special focus on the Neo-Assyrian period. He hopes to pursue a PhD in Assyriology after completing his MA.
