Biography:
Anthony Ochmanowicz received his degrees in Classical Languages and in French Linguistics from Pennsylvania State University. After graduating, he taught English in Spain for 2 years, spent 3 years learning Modern Greek and worked as a TA in Linguistics. He focuses on historical linguistics and theoretical syntax including diachronic language change from Latin to the Romance languages as well as the history of Greek. He has a special interest in verbal modality and tense/aspect systems especially how these systems emerge.
